Frustration in any area of life is inevitable when you operate outside of revelation. Which is why believers must operate from a position of faith that comes through the revelation of the spoken word that enters your spirit.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. (Romans 8:14)
Here the word clearly says that sons of God are those who are led by the spirit of God.
When you are born again, you have been given the right to become children of God (John 1:12) , but we must not remain children for children do not have any access to the inheritance until they mature and become sons (Galatians 4:1-3)
Raised sons of God are led by the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14). Holy spirit leads you into all truth and gives you spiritual insight into the intricacies of choices and decisions you need to make in life.
A life that is not submitted to the spirit of God leads to frustration because now you operate from ground level, through physical sight, knowledge, understanding and human life.
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your [f]understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power (Ephesians 1:17-19)
There is a higher life, a higher knowledge and understanding that can only be accessed by your spirit when your own spirit is submitted wholly to God’s spirit and you take time to study and meditate the word until the word begins to work in your life; until you become the total manifestation of the word. Here Paul talks about the spirit of wisdom and revelation and the eyes of understanding that allows you to see riches of god’s glory of His inheritance. Sons who are led by the spirit have their eyes opened to see what rightfully belongs to them. This why the older brother in the parable of the prodigal son that Jesus taught about couldn’t see what was his; his eyes were closed even though he was a son, he had the mindset of a slave.
Sons who are led by the spirit have their spiritual eyes opened to spiritual truths and operate from a position of victory and have a prosperity mindset. They know they are champions regardless of what they see in the natural. Such men labour in the word and are fully immersed and baptised and surrendered to the will of the spirit and they may be slaves and servants of God in terms of their total commitment to God, and they don’t move without the leading of the spirit, but their identity is that of a son. Such a man achieves within a short span of time what others take a life time to achieve, he will be bound to success, favour and elevation. He cannot escape the increase, it is just impossible for him to fail.
When you see such men, don’t criticise or doubt their authenticity because their success is too good to be true, but learn and become a student of the spirit, understanding how such men are led by the spirit at all times. Study and honour such men of the spirit and follow them as they follow Christ. Humility is the key to being led by the spirit and to learn from others who have walked the journey.
